William Preston Bowling, with the moniker of Artist/Activist/Agent started his art career at a very young age as ARTIST, participating in group shows and three solo exhibits by the age of 21 that led to a job as Visual Display Artist for the now defunct Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard. An accomplished bassist, currently in the Surf Trio, CHUM, Bowling is fortunate to have played with surf greats such as Dick Dale and provided soundtrack music to the Stacey Peralta, Dogtown and Z Boys follow-up, Pipeline Masters.

As ACTIVIST, not just with ACME, yet saving mountains from development, as a founding member of Rocky Ledge Land Preservation which successfully saved 25 acres in Topanga Canyon with help from the MRCA and Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky.

As AGENT, in addition to REALTOR public service, Bowling has been working as a successful Real Estate agent in Malibu and Topanga Canyon. Involved with several committees, Bowling became the 2009 President of the Malibu Association of REALTORS® that led to a seat as 2011 Regional Chair of the California Association of REALTORS®, covering the areas from Beverly Hills to Malibu. William is one of the founding members of the Malibu REALTORS® Charitable Fund that helps disaster displaced residents of Malibu and Topanga Canyon, all the while finding time for for his 12 and 14 year old daughters as a single dad.
